I just got this E-mail from the Mayor’s office announcing Senator Kerry’s upcoming office hours in Northampton City Council Chambers. Now don’t get too excited because it looks like it’s not Uncle Kerry himself but members of his staff. Still, it’s a great opportunity.

Say It – Cheelaay Keelay
The recipe is called Chilaquiles but around our house it’s pronounced as noted above. It’s from the very excellent Quick Vegetarian Pleasures by Jeanne Lemlin. It won the James Beard Cookbook of the Year Award and boy! does it deserve it. We cook out of it at least three times a week.
